KIDNAPPED Campaign
Guerrilla Campaign · Visual Communication · Graphic Design ׀ at Giraff Branding
On the morning of Sunday, October 8th, Tal Huber took immediate action, mobilizing her entire business to create a powerful movement to raise awareness for the hostages in Gaza. What began as a swift response to a heartbreaking reality has grown into what is now recognized as one of the most impactful guerrilla campaigns in history. This initiative serves as a testament to the power of unity, creativity, and relentless determination in the face of unimaginable challenges.

My experience
On October 8th, I found myself asking a simple question: what could a graphic designer like me possibly do in a time of war?
I prayed in the middle of the street and asked God: “I didn’t serve in the army. I studied art and design. If there is something I can do to help keep my family and my country safe, what is it?”
At the end of that prayer, my supervisor, Tal Huber, called me and told me to come to the studio immediately. We had only a few hours before New York woke up - New York, where the posters would be printed for the first time.
That was where the campaign would begin.
