Passover Haggadah
Editorial Design · Print · Art Direction ׀ at Giraff Branding

The project was commissioned by Yeladim Besikui, an Israeli non-profit organization supporting children and young people living in residential care. Our studio was commissioned to design the organization’s Passover Haggadah, created around the theme of freedom and the right to dream. The publication brings together the traditional story of Passover with the personal dreams and aspirations of the children supported by the organization, turning their words into a meaningful and visually engaging editorial experience.

I was responsible for the graphic design and layout, as well as creating most of the visual collages throughout the publication. The project explores the theme of freedom through the dreams, hopes, and aspirations of children and teenagers in vulnerable situations. I translated their personal words into surreal, poetic collages, combining photography, textures, and unexpected imagery to create imaginative worlds that reflect their desire for freedom, adventure, belonging, and a better future. The result is a colorful and expressive editorial piece that connects a traditional Passover narrative with the personal stories and dreams of the children it was created to support.
